Alan is a founder Partner and the Deputy Head of BDC, based in London. He sits on the BDC Board and is a member of BDC's Operating Committee and Investment Advisory Committee. He joined Bridgepoint in 1996.

Alan is currently a board member of Analysys Mason, Monica Vinader, Eckoh and Prescient Healthcare Group. He has led a broad range of transactions including public-to-private and serial international buy-and-build investments. Prior to joining Bridgepoint, he worked for Deloitte (formerly Arthur Andersen) in their corporate finance team.

Alan has a degree in Finance from Birmingham University and is a Chartered Accountant.
