Tyler Reeder

ECP President & Chief Investment Officer

Tyler is the President and Investment Officer of ECP and involved in all areas of the Firm’s investment activities, with a particular emphasis on power generation and environmental infrastructure. He is Chair of ECP’s Management Committee, and is also a member of ECP’s Investment, Valuation, Risk, and ESG Committees.

Tyler led the take-private acquisition of Calpine Corporation and currently serves on the boards of Gopher Resource and Restaurant Technologies. 

Prior to joining ECP in 2006, Tyler served in operating and management roles with two power generation companies, Texas Genco, LLC and Orion Power Holdings, Inc., and from 1996 to 1998, worked at Goldman Sachs.

Tyler received a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.
