Bridgepoint’s investment supported the development of Robinia’s specialist care platform within the UK care sector.

In 2006, Bridgepoint exited Robinia Care Group through sale to Barclays Private Equity. It was subsequently rebranded as Solor Care and was later acquired by Voyage Care (owned by HgCapital).  

Robinia Care Group specialised in residential and supported care services for adults and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. The company operated a network of specialist care homes delivering structured residential placements across England. Its services focused on regulated long-term care provision for individuals requiring specialist residential support.
